Randomly random.

I find it disturbing that when I take a break from proofing clients, I continue to sit here and play with my own snaps. I really need a hobby.

The madam slept in this morning and when she emerged from her abode, it looked like it had been a tough night. Cubbies fix everything though. If there's not a cubby in the lounge at the moment, Cassidy's not home.

We have a lot on at the moment with different work things. I write lists, write lists of lists, and generally try to remain on top of things and with a clear head.

Steve prefers to take a more soft focus approach.

Four weeks.

Em and Will came to visit yesterday. I kept up my current phase of being a computer hobbit whilst cuddling Will at my desk, Em made cups of tea and we snapped a couple of pics.

Em is also modelling her new and 'vary vary schexy' new hairdo. The definative yummy mummy my friends.

This is William in a full-fledged milk coma, as it has come to be known. Straight after a feed he goes completely floppy and you can't do anything with him. It lasts a few minutes before his beady little eyes pop open and he's ready to go :)

Will has re-invented the classic Superman grace, as our kids calls it, to say "thank you Lord for giving me boobies"

I never want to eat again............okay, well that's a bit drastic...I probably will want to in approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.

My life is complete.

As a side note, I was pondering how short a period it is in a male's life when they're not interested in boobs. They are born interested then there's only an approximate 12-14 years of peace before they hit puberty and become obsessed with them all over again.....for a completely different yet un-explicable reason.

There's my thought for today. As you can see, my thoughts aren't going all that deep at the moment.

Construction zone.

The other morning Mum minded Cassidy for me so I could catch up on some work.

I happened to have Mum's car which I was driving in to their place as well. On the way, I had to ring Steve for help because I somehow got the car into sports mode and it wasn't changing gears properly. Small incident, one I thought wasn't worth mentioning.

Mum told me later that after I dropped Cassidy off she took great delight in telling them how I was unable to drive their car and that I, (direct quote from four year old daughter here folks) was a "work in progress".

I take that to mean that she sees hope for my future and eventually I will be moulded into the mother that she wants. Apparently I have potential and she thinks its worth it to hang around for the long haul. Bless her caring little heart.

This is my 'mentor' in an outfit she dressed herself in the other day. Luckily, we were only going to Nanna's.

It's rough not being in the buff.

I'd rather he be naked too. It's easier to bite his cute little bum that way.

Let me eat cake.

Isaac: Mum, how old are you today?

Me: I'm twenty eight.

Isaac: How do I write that? Is that a two and then an eight?

Me: Yes.

Cassidy: Wow, that's old.

Me (sad face and despondent): Thanks Cass.

Cassidy (patting me reassuringly on the arm like I'm a geriatric in a nursing home): It's okay mum. You can still have a cake. When are your friends coming over?

Me: When you're a mummy you don't really worry about friends coming over on your birthday. I'm happy just to be with you guys.

Cassidy (looking at me like I'd completely lost the plot): But mum! You can't have a birthday if there's no party!

Hmm, I think she's onto something there. No party, stay twenty seven for ever. I like it.

Hanging in Phoenix. As I do.

My homie Dee in LA with her greenbacks :)

Stace. Yes, she's as crazy as she looks.

My roomies, Erin and Stace. Leaving them was very very hard, they are amazing women.

On my first night out in Phoenix, after "eating out in the states" tips from from Dee, I ordered nachos as an attempt to have a normal sized meal. What arrived was similar to a plate of nachos prepared to feed a small country. I'm sure there was a Mexican family living inside there somewhere. The photo really doens't give you the full effect. When I checked the menu it described them as Volcano Nachos.

Ah, that would explain it.

For my mum. What happens when Little White Dog owners go mad.
Custom built prams for dogs. Only in America.

Just a few of some of the gorgeous people we had model for us.

I actually find it hard to look at the photos, we had such an amazing time. When you meet wonderful people from all over the world online, it makes you realise that although there's bad things going on in the world, there's a whole lot of good as well. I met amazing women that are loving God, their families and helping others in any way they can. I feel truly honoured to have met them and to call them friends.

There's no place like home.

Phoenix was amazing. I met friends for the first time that were so easy to love and so hard to leave. I don't think we went to bed before 3am every night. I'm sure there was a shortage of oxygen in the hotel from all the women yapping 24/7!

I couldn't wait to get home to see my three who met me at the airport at 11.30 last night with the littlest two in slippers and dressings gowns....what a gorgeous sight for a jet lagged mummy. My boy gave me the tightest cuddles you could ever ask for and my girl ran alongside the barrier crying out "Mummy!" as I pushed my trolley into arrivals. My amazing husband kid wrangled, packed lunches and worked while I was away and still met me with hugs, kisses and a smile. How blessed am I?

Once I adjust to crossing what must be an illegal amount of timezones in the past week, I will return to your regular scheduled program of blogging.

PS. I have already seen my newphew (of course!) and he may as well be in uni he's so huge. According to William, boobies rock.

The littlest man.

Whom I am now leaving for a week to go to a photography conference in Phoneix. As in Arizona. As in United States. On my own. Eeeeek! It's been planned for a while and I am so excited to meet so many friends I've chatted with online for so long now! I think sleep may become secondary once a group of women who love photography spend three days together!

I couldn't go without posting a few pics of our newest little man. He'll probably be in university by the time I get back...sniff sniff.

Lots of photos to share when I get back. Somehow I think there'll be a few cameras where I'm going ;)
